I am completely blank as to what I want to say. So, let me ramble.
I did just get off the phone with my son Michael who is in his final year at NYU. He has an interesting dilemma. After three and a half years he completed his required courses, now he just taking some extra credits. Does he look for a job now, or relax and have fun. He is speaking with his advisors, and hopefully they guide him in the right direction. Mom and Dad are very proud.
I've been plowing snow all morning trying to stay ahead of the storm that is expected tonight. I hate snow. I hate winter. Teased myself and looked at pictures from this past summer.
I wrote the other day about this book I'm reading called Crush It. The author mentions alot of sites to go to. It is amazing how much is out there. In the course of three pages, I wound up adding seventeen sites to my favorites. These are all sites I now have to sign into and have passwords for.
Monday, I was a little angry and I wanted to start writing about the lack of common courtesy there is today. I'm a little calmer, but I'm sure people didn't get much better in two days. And this is not every one. But the few rude people just over power us.
Hold a door for some one. Say thank you. Say you're welcome. Welcome new comers. Smile at a child. Speak with an elderly person. Help them. One day that may be you. Assist that person who has too many packages.
I wrote about this subject before, but I have a question for the the drivers that don't look when crossing lanes. When you cut me off and you just left a few feet between us, did you even look in the mirror. Did you care that I was there. Is it your right to be in front of me.Or are you just a rude SOB that doesn't care about the next human being. Shoot, I guess your not going to hold that door for me!
